im building one out of fiberglass thats modeled very closely after an safari, but im cheap so im building it. i havent decided if im gunna color match it or do bedliner. probably bedliner since it will match my rockers. if you wanted to color match an arb. be sure to use adhesion promoter and dont mix the paint to hot so it still has its flexable characteristic in it. just remember it sticks out farther like your mirror so it is going to get scratches on it eventually nomatter how hard you try to stay away from brush.

I have seen painted snorkels on Land Cruisers. You might try searching Mud.

Yes, several. One of the cleanest builds I can think of is Christo's 100 (Slee Offroad)
