Snow Peak Addiction

I'm feeding my Snow Peak addiction too, I picked up the Mini Solo cookset yesterday from REI for backpacking use with my MSR pocket rocket and Snow Peak spork that I previously had. I got an insulated coffee mug too, I would have gotten a double wall Snow Peak cup but this one has a sippy lid on it which the titanium cup does not have.

Snow Peak do make a sipping lid for the twin wall 450 mug, details, here.

I originally planned to machine several and then sell them. But to be honest I assumed there just weren't very many if any folks that were using the GigaPower LI Stove that would want bulk propane adaptability.

At full bore 34,000btu it doesn't take too long to burn through a ~450g canister hence my desire to utilize bulk propane. So far it has functioned as expected on 100% bulk propane. If there is interest I can figure out a cost...

The lack of this capability is one reason I don't have a SnowPeak cook top. I'm interested in one of your adapters.

I bought the BBQ box first. It was such a great product, i'm working my way through the entire catalog....

If you have ever thought about buying a Snow Peak product you will not be disappointed.

It all fits nicely in a Pelican 2750

Sorry for the noobish question but what is the center burner? Is that a stove?

I just picked up a bunch of SP stuff and would be interested in a bulk adapter as well spressomon :chef: keep us posted. I'll tray and post some pics in a bit. This stuff is amazing!

I met with my machinist buddy today. His wife is in the hospital so he's backed up a week or so on these. So hang tight and as soon as he's done I'll let everyone know including pricing. Thanks, Dan

My son just got GigaPower backpacking stove, we tried it out last weekend and it performs great. We made hot drinks and boiled water for a couple of dinners plus made tea and breakfast the next day. I think we still had enough fuel for at least one more meal left. I was very impressed with that little stove.

I have one of those too. But since the JetBoil came out I don't use it very often anymore. But what a compact and very capable little burner!

I made up a few adapters to convert the Snowpeak GS1000 stove to propane. $42 + $10 USPS. Essentially a 2' hp hose with 1/4"FNPT on one end and the special threaded fitting on the other. Ideally needs to be used with an adjustable regulator at ~ 75psi.

PM me if interested.

Has anyone used their Giga Torch upside down yet? If so, what gas are you using? Package says it should work, but it goes out on me. Using a MSR canister.
