Snow Peak Addiction

add more adjustable legs to your setup?
Or perhaps you could McGuyver something with the IGT height adjusters to lower the extention table coming from the rail to match the rest of the setup?

Ok Snow Peak geeks ;-) so I’ve played with this set up on the back of my 100 series. Very similar to another addict on here and I have to blame him for a much lighter wallet.

So the other day I was thinking why not grab this connector link
And bolt it to the fender on my Chaser trailer. Why should the Cruiser only get IGT love?

But even with the air bags empty, the top of the rail is 930 mm. I can use my Drifta adjustable legs to make it level, but I need something else to make it work going around the corner. Any ideas?

Why not make a bracket to lower the attachment to the fender?

Almost felt likt summer in the Netherlands yesterday so I had a little grill party in our tiny garden. I set up the Jikaro table. I don't use it often, but when I do, I always like it :)

Happy Grilling (y)

Im in the process of building my own trailer from scratch. v1 is a soft top with frontrunner load bars that ill put a ski box and a Thule Foothill RTT on. I still need to get around to fabbing the rear barn door but i test fit my IGT with the standing legs and so far i found that any variance within a couple inches can be handled with the foot and or a small board etc. bigger variance i assume I can handle either with the height adjusters or adding addition mounting points on the barn door.

Finally got to use my Snow Peak Grill burner. I bought is almost a year ago on sale and haven't had a good camp trip to use it. Went to the Maze District of Canyonlands earlier this year and tested it out. My worries about the unit included a low BTU (8k), no lid and doesn't pack down too small. I was excited about a real cast iron grate and ease of cleanup. I brought some good filets and we cooked them up. You fill the bottom with some water to catch any grease from the food.

Overall, I am very pleased with the results. Proper warm-up for the cast iron and it warmed up hot and evenly on the grate. The burner is great and gas looked even throughout. It cooked up and created a nicde crust on the meat. Clean-up was easy being cast iron and setting up and packing away is easy as it fits in a Frotn Runner Cub box, the box smaller than the Wolf. I didn't bring my whole IGT setup this trip as I have 2 Front Runner stainless steel tables that fit under my roof top tent. Definite 2 thumbs up!

Looking good and glad you like it. I would have liked it to have a bit more power but it comes in handy when there is a no charcoal/grill policy at a campsite. I have DIY'ed a deflector and grillgrate for it so I can also use it as a gas grill instead of griddle.

That’s why I was always on the fence about it. Now I just use the single burner and a reversible cast iron grill/griddle plate. Better multitasker I think.
