One concern with the 100? Do they have the variable ride height adjustment or is that just the 200s?

Get a 100

I would recommend a 100 series. Add sliders and a lift and have fun. I have $800 in BIOR sliders and $500 in a lift. Replace front and back plastic bumpers after you destroy them. ;<)

100's up until '06 do not have AHC, it became an option in '06. All LX470s have it standard. Don't let it concern you too much, it can be replaced with standard LC suspension or OME lift.

I loved my LX450, 190,000 miles, triple locked, slee lift, armored. Felt invincible for everything i threw at it. But ended up selling it because gas prices killed me. I was averaging 11-12mpg, and that was without heavy footing. I think i'd fill up 20 gallons so it was pretty easy to watch 10 miles go by and be like there's $4 in gas haha. But yeah I wouldn't get one unless you have a daily driver, or you can afford the gas. I've been looking for something to replace it with but haven't found anything yet. Been tossing ideas of a 100 series, FJ60 with a motor swap, 3rd Gen 4Runner, or a Gen 2, 2.5 Monty.

Economy isnt the forte of a 100 series either... over the last 3800 miles I have averaged 12.65MPG with a mix of city and highway driving, including a couple of road trips. This number is derived by taking the miles driven divided by gallons used including a correction for tire size.

I've had few other SUVs after my 80 series, but came back to the LC in the 100.

Thanks for posting the facts. I just wanted to mention it since I recalled it being something to consider!
