I have the ARB awning with the room set up as well. Except I've never used my room part. It's still in the box and never opened.

I've also never understood why ARB put the window/screen openings on the OUTSIDE of the room too. They should be inside just like a regular tent for privacy.

Or at least have them on the inside also. I can see it maybe being a bit more weatherproof with them on the outside.

I went with the Hannibal Awning and the 3 side panels. We've been very satisfied. Best thing is no guy lines. If you go this route, be aware, the lead time is loonngg.

Do you mean no tie downs?

I'd be wary about that where we camp in the summer (Oshkosh, WI). We get some pretty wicked storms and I've seen them level a few tents almost every year.

Is there an option for tie down?

Yep. The awning arms swing and cantilever out from the mount. It is very stout. You could add tie downs/ guy lines if you wanted. Never have needed them. We typically put the walls on 95% of the time. The side walls have holes for ground stakes. It's stood up very well in some pretty wicked wind. This awing is much more substantial than most every ground tent I've seen. It 's build and quality is very similar to Eezi-Awn Tents.

Does it come with a floor? Leaning toward the ARB 4 wall since I have been using ARB gear for a while and there are lots of options.

Nope, no floor. For simplicity, ease of setup and tear down, and storage, we use an extra Eezi-Awn ground sheet. Don't know if you have seen these, but they are amazing at keeping dirt, mud, and sand out of the trailer.

If you haven't spent much time in a teardrop, storage space is at a premium. Just make sure you have planned for a place to store the extra gear. Setup and tear down times also begin to add up with the walls added to the awning. You can easily add 15 minutes to your setup and tear down times if you have to mess with sidewalls on an awning. It's usually not a big deal for us, because we tend to stay put for 3-4 days at a time. If we're moving every day, the sidewalls don't get deployed, or we will only use 1 or 2 to provide shelter from wind and/or sun.

Lead times on the Hannibal awnings were too long for their needs. Just ordered a 510XS from the main Upland, CA folks. Wanted a Hannibal, but deliveries didn't jive with their production flow. The Scipio they offer is very much like the Hannibal, but only 6' wide. We wanted something wider, so went with an 8' wide Fiamma.

Marine interior and galley with flipper doors

Anyone here have the Marine interior option and the galley with flipper doors? I get the feeling that there haven't been too many of these yet, but it sounds like a good combo. If anyone has both would be real interested in your comments.

I'm getting the marine panel upgrade with the upgraded flipper doors in the galley but I won't have mine until May. We wanted our caravan to be ready to go at will and this choice seemed to make the most sense.
We are seeing our builder tomorrow to look at a 510 he is currently building for some lucky sob. :). I'm going to take some critical pics about things that I think have been regularly asked about but never shown. Water tank brackets, installation, wiring and other parts for example. I've also haven't seen a porch or under trailer lights yet either.
The only other thing I had wanted was the wrap around bumper but they discontinued it :(.

What are those options?
