I've got a Pelican 1780 that i picked up last year to toss camping gear into and then throw on top of the roof rack and head out. Turns out that they are REALLY heavy when loaded and more of a pain that I need to deal with on a roof rack. Would be great for truck bed storage. Not looking to sell outright, but I am willing to trade for either one Pelican 1730 case or two Pelican 1620 cases. Those would fit better than the two action packers I have in the back of the truck currently but would also allow me to toss whatever is in there on the roof rack and not have to worry about it getting wet.
Case is in good shape overall, one of the latches on the side is broken. I cinched a strap down too tight over the latch and the locking bit of the latch broke. The single latch doesn't affect the sealing as i've soaked the the case on the seams with a high pressure hose just to be sure. Here's a quick snapshot of the case :
