Update: So I attempted to open up the seatbelt casing and clean it out... it was actually in decent shape but I gave it a good deoxidation anyway. Light still wouldn't go off after a reset so I took it into a different dealership and they indeed diagnosed the Driver's seatbelt mechanism as the issue and are replacing it under warranty. Turns out all dealerships are not equal. Once I get the car back and confirm the Airbag light is off I'll make a new for-sale post. Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I truly appreciate it.
Great, glad they got that taken care of. We have a plain Element (not an eCamper) and really enjoy it. GLWS.

Glad to see that your persistence paid off.

It’ll be easier to sell the Element now to a reassured buyer.

These are such sweet, rare rigs, I almost wanted to buy it myself (my niece in Goleta owns one...has high 200k miles on it, still going strong and it’s a joy for me to borrow and drive it when I go visit her). I’d be all over this if my sweetheart hadn’t recently got us a new Suby Outback.

But, seriously......Yours is AWD (not all are), has decent mileage and has the pop top ....and you’re asking a very fair price too. Anyone who’s been thinking about getting an affordable, fun, dual use DD little camper that can go lots of places in the woods......man, this is the perfect rig for you!

Good news,

The Airbag light is off and has been addressed, it was indeed the seatbelt sensor which has been replaced by the dealership. I also decided the tires were looking a bit bare so I put on 4 brand new Michelin Premier LTX's.

For information purposes, anyone saying the airbag system will operate normally with the SRS light on is blowing smoke. If the SRS (airbag and seatbelt tensioner system) light is on the system is receiving conflicting data and may or may not work in an accident, most likely won't. I worked for Honda 9 years and driving around with an SRS light on is an absolute crapshoot as to whether they will operate or not.

Glad you found an honest dealer to take care of you.
