Are you in the market for a turnkey, pre-DEF expedition vehicle that you can take across all continents? Look no further, we are selling our 2016 Earthcruiser FX built on a 2007 Mitsubishi Fuso FG Chassis!
🦄 This Earthcruiser is a unicorn: No DEF or low-sulfur diesel required! I believe there are only two Earthcruisers built on pre-DEF chassis in the US. This one and Lance’s EXP (Earthcruiser owner).
🎂 The cherry on the cake? This Earthcruiser has a five-speed manual transmission with 4WD hi/lo transfer case Unlike all the other ECs built on recent Fuso chassis, this truck can go in 4LO.
We are open to trade the EC for a full size truck + airstream.
The truck and the house were fully inspected by Earthcruiser in Bend, OR, earlier this year. In fact, I requested them to perform the inspection they would run on the pre-owned units they sell. So while it’s not “certified,” you can be reassured that the truck is in good shape and ready to hit the road.
Also, while in Bend, Earthcruiser took it to the nearest certified FUSO service center for a full inspection. Nothing to report!
Concerned about the mileage? Diesel engine are engineered to last much longer than gas engines. The mileage is not high relative to the life of a diesel engine.
We have a clean title in hand and the rig is registered as a motorhome. And FYI, it is currently insured as a motorhome and at its market value with StateFarm.
You will have access to the private owner's forum which has been a valuable source of information for us. If you don't like doing the work by yourself, Earthcruiser will be able to take of you, no problems!
That said, we went for a month trip last spring in Southern Utah, and the experience was absolutely amazing. This is truly a beautifully designed rig for full-time travel.
If Escalante isn't a convenient location, we could possibly meet in Salt Lake City, UT.

Why Are We Selling?
We bought this truck to replace our previous home on wheels while we were still traveling full time. Our life changed quite a bit over the past few months: we are not full-time overlanders anymore and we moved back to our place in Utah. We barely used the EC since then, and it became more pratical for us to use our Tacoma for the occasional overnight camping trip. That said, we went for a month trip last spring in Southern Utah, and the experience was absolutely amazing. This is truly a beautifully designed rig for full-time travel.
Interested?
The Earthcruiser is available for sale in Escalante, UT. Fill up the water tanks, and explore the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument immediately after taking procession of the rig!If Escalante isn't a convenient location, we could possibly meet in Salt Lake City, UT.
