They will also need the measurement from cab over down to the bottom of the frame(where it sits on the bed rail) to ensure it will clear the cab.

Does this have the extra bedding height? Is it tough to push up without the gas struts?

I don’t think it has the extra bedding height. I’m 5’6 , can sit on the bed and have plenty of head room.
No gas struts needed. My grandma could lift it up.
