2020 Hawk Flatbed on 2018 F150 5.0

This was a well planned and executed build. The Hawk FB camper has custom interior touches and all the right options for a couple or small family looking to explore and camp in comfort and style. The truck is very capable with a 400hp 5.0 v8, 10 speed transmission, shorter wheelbase (145") ext. cab, 3.73 gears, 4x4 low, electronic locking rear diff, and aftermarket suspension. This rig is shorter with a lower roofline and more off-road capable than most vans, while offering the versatility of a flatbed truck when the camper is removed. Due to relocation and a new career it’s time for us to sell.

Willing to share a pic of the driver's door frame sticker listing the combined weight limit of this truck? Have you ever weighed the truck as configured?

Beautiful truck!!!

Thanks, it's a real head turner for sure. It's got the #7050 GVWR package including a HD frame, tow package, and custom leaf pack. It carries great without airbags. Tow/haul shocks really work to stabilize the load. I have not weighed it w/ camper. I'll get a pic of that sticker for you as soon as I can.

As much as I've looked at the maximum payload charts recently, I should have figured out the GVWR... you had all the clues in your ad. My apologies. The chart says 2240 lbs max payload.

Assuming that opens up properly that'll give the general specs on tow capacity and all. I'm still, however, struggling to get the GCWR for the truck. My goal is to have a flatbed FWC and tow my Jeep on an aluminum flatbed trailer. With that I'll need somewhere between 7.5-10K of towing capacity - which this has, but I don't know how much of the total capacity is eaten up by the camper and cargo.

I'm sure the truck could handle it but I do not recommend it. You're definitely in 3/4 ton to 1 ton territory once you hook up any trailer to a rig like this one. Now if you put the Jeep and camper on an aluminum flatbed toy trailer you might be good to go lol.

Great-looking, well-executed build. Who built the flatbed? It is very similar to something I have in mind for a project. GLWS
