As work on the ambulance is getting close enough to use this spring, it's time for my beloved Bigfoot to find new adventures with a new owner. it is a big heavy camper set up to be carried on a flatbed truck, with aluminum sideboxes mounted & closed in. i carried it on 1 ton cab/chassis/sleeper dually with a 8' bed & an extension on a triple receiever. Would be best on a 3500-5500 cab/chassis with a 9-10' bed.
It's a well used, but not abused 1996 with just about everything including onan lp genset & full drybath. Lots of extras(vent covers,2 solar panels,6v batteries, flatscreen,etc...). previous owner changed out a couple of windows with dual panes. the side boxes add tons of storage. Each side is made from spendy truck side boxes(about $750 ea) Roof has been Rhino lined/coated white.Almost new electric jacks
You couldn't put anything together that comes close to this for the $$$. Boxes could possibly be removed to go back on a pickup bed, but there'd be some patching of screw Bigfeet dog 001.jpgholes & removal of the plywood bottom.
Lots more I can go over if you're interested. Giving it a chance here before Craigs & the dreaded 'bay

I have one of these 3000 series Bigfoots and can certainly vouch for the quality. Its worth mentioning that the 3000 series is Bigfoots most insulated 4 season camper they built, hence how heavy it is. Stays nice and cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Heated holding tanks, aluminum framed fibercore wall, roof and floor system, "basement" storage, oak cabinets etc.
Good luck with the sale.

Just out of curiosity...what is that in the wall under the dinette table? I can't decide if it's an a/c unit or a toaster oven.

I have a 2006 3000 10.11FR - pretty much the exact same camper but 10 years younger.

As long as you have a truck that can handle the weight, these are awesome, rugged choices. By handle the weight... these things are 4000+ pounds wet.

PM's replied to, Yes, a toaster oven under the table. Orig stove W/oven replaced with just a cooktop. Vented battery box for 2 6V in there now with matched oak doors. Big AC unit on roof, LOTS of little extras throughout. Yes it's a tank. Yes, I can possibly deliver just about anywhere for the asking price...It will sell for less, just ask, it has served me very well the past few years & needs to go! feel free to call me 435 635 2744 , i'm in So Utah 2 hours north of Las Vegas Pete

Looks like it's heading to Craigs & the bay...Just went thru it , checked systems. replaced furnace fan shutoff timer, while replacing toilet floor flange, decide to install the new hi profile toilet I had planned to use in the ambulance. Looking at the now installed truck camper bathroom, a low profile will work out as toilet area is stepped up from shower floor.. Price lowered $ 7000 OBO READY TO CAMP! Anyone looking to do a flatbed conversion should take a look. The amount of storage added by the boxes is amazing, not to mention how much time went into their installation. Serious builders please contact me, lets get it on your truck. Dreamers looking at overpriced, overbuilt trucks with a far too short wheelbase should just keep dreaming(although this is a fun site to look & dream) I'll get some more pics of this & the ambulance up soon

SOLD! Looks like it's going on a Fuso FG, just what I was going to repurpose it to before I bought the ambulance. Thanks Darin

Congrats on the sale. Let new owners know that they can reach out to me if they want to talk with someone who has the same model (later year) on an FG.
