I‘m sure its possible and has been done in Europe. Probably not cheep if you can not get it done by your self ?

OM617A (turbo'd) I-5 or an OM603A (turbo'd)? An OM606A w/ 603A injection pump would be incredible. These are popular for G-Wagen's, taken from the E-Class sedan.

Our could put in a brand new Cummins R2.8 4 cyl engine with 92h.p. and 310 ft pds of torque.
The engine kit is complete with wiring harness and CPU.
Basically the same size and the German engine.
