It's not happening, so now it's your opportunity! 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT Laramie -12 Valve Cummins Diesel -- 4 Wheel Drive -- NV5600 6 Speed Manual Transmission -- Heavy Duty Transfer Case. OUTSTANDING Condition with the most desirable P7100 P-Pump. The HOLY GRAIL -- Last year of the bulletproof Cummins 12 valve Diesel with inter-cooler combined with the first year with the passenger access doors to the extended cab. 3rd Gen New Venture (NV5600) 6 speed Transmission.

4 Wheel Drive with Dana 80 rearend, geared 3:54 with Traclock & Dana 60 Front Differential.
Interior is in excellent condition. Never been smoked in.
Tracks great down the highway.Replaced Torsion Bar - H-D Moog. Redhead Steering Gear - Front differential U-Joints have been replaced. All driveshaft U-Joints have been replaced. 13 total grease points. Fresh Ball Joints. NO PLAY.
Fuel Lift Pump Pressure Gauge Installed.

Fuel Mileage: 23 MPG @ 65 mph -- 19 MPG @ 75 mph.

A/C Blows cold.

Nice truck and agree it’s a great combo of Dodge options. You should have no problem selling it!

But this also feels like we’re slowly losing control of the word “overland”...

I just didn’t imagine tainting a “stock” or “original” 12v Cummins with the word overland for no reason. Ew.
No tainting intended. Yes, it’s stock. The overland moniker is due to its capacity to be transformed into an amazing base for an overland build. We searched the country for one. Because if your deep in the backcountry of the US or Canada, or in Centra or South America..there are NO electronics, parts are readily available, they’ll run on any fuel, they’re made to maintain and anyone who can wrench a tractor or truck, can fix your rig. They are rare, and every one I’ve seen in this good of condition, has been an automatic and gone for between $27-$32k. Check out Down2Mob on YouTube for an example.
