Some Dirty Pictures

I live in Nevada and have a beautiful place where we in this area still own the right of ways for the roads. When it rains the roads become fun, I mean lots of fun. The soil is a clay/silt loam and makes for really good clean mud fun. Here are a few pics I took when I was coming home from work. So you know, the closes paved or gravel road to me is over a mile away. Now, I wish I could have my wife out side to take photos of me coming home going through this stuff, but she does not want to get her shoes muddy.

Enjoy

This is after the run and making it back to my driveway.

This is where I backed out of my drive way

This is shows how deep the hardest part allows you to sink

This is the first bog out of the drive way and my first turn. Good thing it is pretty solid at the turn

This is after I make the turn for the 1.4 mile straight away to gravel

This is the straight stretch. That wet spot is deep, sinking the taco 3/4 up the tires

Another storm is coming in :wings:

Looks like a great driveway to me!:)

What kind of rig does your wife drive?

:jumping:

She is into sports cars. Right now she has a 91 RX7 and 92 Miata in the garage. Matter of fact, she drives so much that being orignal owners she has only put 32,000 miles on the miata and 22,567 miles on the RX7. Hell, the roof of the land rover you see in one of the photos had 320,642 miles before the engine fire and my 2007 taco which is only 5 months old has over 8,000 miles. So in reality I could say that my wife really doen't drive at all.

Those RX-7s are cool. I spun one into a curb and had to swap the rear-end when I was 18. :(
Maybe your wife doesn't drive 'cause she can't reach the road with all that mud in the way :D

You think you could post or link to the bigger photos? :)

I love RX-7s in that all you need is a dermel to modify the motor. Other than than, I am 6'5" and don't fit into any of her cars.

I wish that was the case. Even when we lived in Las Vegas she never drove. Why drive when all she has to say is would you like to go someplace. I love to drive and am always willing to go someplace. :smiley_drive:
