My mom came to visit us in Washington for the first time since we moved from Arizona about a year and half ago. She was here for 7 days. Sooo..Gave me an excuse to get out. Logged about 700 miles over the week just shuttling my mom around and showing her the state. Here's a few photos from the past week.

Nothing too special, luckily the last few days she was here we had some nice bright sunny days, although it was pretty damn cold. Didn't really take her up into the mountains, she didn't come prepared for that kind of cold.

Nice one, it looks like mom was able to atleast see the Western side of the state. We've been having some wonderful sunrises, views of Rainier, and Sunsets, this last week hopefully you guys were able to view em' from DP.

..speaking of DP, this is a 'pink' year and come late July-September Browns point, the state park, and area around the Lobster Shop will be inundated with both fisherman, and our easiest and most abundant salmon to catch in this region.

Nice..that's pretty cool! We're not far from there at at all so we'll definitely have to check it out and get in on the salmon!

Fantastic photos, and one more reason I enjoy living here.

Yes, Mt. Rainier has been out in its full glory the past few days, simply gorgeous to look at on a below below freezing day.

Great shots! WA is a great place indeed.

Here's a shot I snapped from the plane with my BlackBerry a few weeks ago...

From the north side you can really see the crater on top of Rainier.
