Sonoran Fossil Expedition

Randomly, I found an SD card in a GoPro I haven't used for years. It was filled with footage from a paleontology expedition in Mexico that we embarked on back in 2018. This was the last time I used that GoPro, which was securely mounted on the built-in mount of my Tacoma as we ventured into the wild. The experience was TRULY EXTRAORDINARY!

These fossil expeditions appointed by the professors at the Arizona Western College and paleontologists were life-changing and left a lasting impact on me. I've added some footage from my phone as well. It's not much of a documentary, but rather candid conversations during the drive to the fossil sites. I've added some miscellaneous clips that I just had to add.

Other organizations do these, and it is fun, especially if you like camping and the outdoors. So look for them in your area or your chosen place for discovery. Explore similar expeditions in your area.

I will post pics here later.

I haven't heard about the Craters. But I remember Overland Journal posting about this area a couple of years ago. I still have that issue. I'm looking at what else may be great to explore.

Scott Brady introduce me to the area along with Doron Strassman. Scott used to have EXPEDITION WEST back in time...I did explore the area solo...and an air compressor come handy!
From Lava crossings/craters to Sand dunes. Salt flats to old railroad crossing . They had back in time a Salt plant. They have made several movies at the Altar desert. and at Landsend you can appreciate the turquoise color at the sea!
