Sony NEX C3 wins mirrorless camera comparison

Tech website Gizmodo has compared four mirrorless compact cameras with interchangable lenses, and that cost about $650. Results:

First place: Sony NEX C3. Best photo quality, 900K pixel 3 inch LCD
Second: Panasonic Lumix GF3. Most compact, Best movie quality
Third: Olympus E-PM1
Fourth: Nikon J1

Michael Reichmann reviewed the Sony NEX-C3 last summer, and found its small size makes the camera hard to use. This is from the perspective of a DSLR and medium format expert, not someone who is stepping up from a pocket point-and-shoot. Reichmann also says the lenses available are too slow. He wants a fast prime lens that would be better suited (that is, smaller than the kit lens) to the size of the NEX-C3 body. Sony says such lenses are coming.
