Spare Parts?

(Hope this isthe correct thread for this)

Curious what spare parts you're carrying in your rig, looked around but couldn't find a thread specifically for this - would like to get a running list together to gain ideas.

So for me it's-

Fuel pump
Alternator
F&R driveshaft U-joints & straps
F&R wheel bearings / seals
Locking hub / bolts
Rear axle shafts
Rear axle yoke
Steering hoses / fittings
Steering gear sector shaft
Steering pump / pulley
Steering ram
All tie rod / drag link ends
Tie rod / drag link
Pitman arm / nut
Steering arm bolts
ARB locker solenoids / switches/ hose/ compressor seals
Serpentine belt
F&R brake caliper hoses / bolts
Lug nuts

Spare parts

I'm just getting the parts togeather now to perminently mount a spare rear driveline in a pocket area under the running board of my FJ60. If you have ever drove home in front wheel drive you would understand. I also carry a spare ujoint as well.

Do you also carry the tools to change out some of those parts?

Rear wheel bearings, pitman arm and such usually need some specialized tools.

spare parts

The only thing that ever slowed me down from making it home was the rear drive line and that was damaged by a large rock. I try to carry the nessesary tools but there is no pitman arm puller or special tools on the box.
