I believe I have enough room to carry a spare between the cab and service body on my FG. I'm thinking a carrier which bolted to the frame just at the bellhousing between the cab and body, which tilted down and let the tire sit on the ground for removal but could be lifted up and pinned in place would be very nice but I've never seen a carrier like this. Anyone know of a source for this kind of carrier?

Here's the tire carrier I made. It's 10" sttel channel. The inside end rests on top of the left frame rail and is bolted to it. The outside is bolted to the service body. Weight is carried on that rack but the tire is held to the service body with two 1' sections of all thread.
