Spider Gears - Yukon or ?

You can hear the spider gears break at 45 seconds in.

I pulled the diff yesterday and inspected the internals. Luckily only the spider gears were damaged. These gears were in a 'good used' carrier that we had JBA use to built up our steel front diff. (No way are we blaming JBA.) I'm assuming that these are just OEM spider gears.

Those that have experience with these things, are Yukon spider gears worth the extra money or are we fine with new OEM gears?

Some Yukons are rebranded Superior (or vice versa), Chinese-sourced.
I ran Chinese 4.56 Yukons in my JK for 80,000 miles and they held up. They always made noise, weren't quite centered the way I'd want them to be, but never chipped or broke.

are we talking about ring and pinion gears or spider gears?

If the spider gears broke, maybe its time for a locker?

Talking spider gears only. The current ring and pinion are new Spicer. Budget doesn't support the purchase of an ARB locker at this time. Don't want the bang and clang types.

Is "Yukon" brand stuff Chinese?????.......I bought one of their alloy axles for my Super Dana 35 because I couldn't get "U.S. Alloy" brand ones at the time.......should I be worried???................I normally stay well away from Chinese made stuff of ANY description!

I don't know if all of it's Chinese but mine were.
And worried? Why worry? What isn't made in China anymore? And why would it be worse than the US automatically?
Lots of crap comes out of the US too. I wouldn't buy/dismiss anything based solely on nation of origin anymore; you have to judge each item on the individual quality.
