Spotted a SWB Trooper!

Wow, some guy was driving a red SWB Trooper here in the Foster City area in CA. Wish I had a camera on hand! It was the newer 94 face lift...man that's the first time I've seen one!

thats the 2-door one right? Those are pretty sweet. I'd love to swipe the hood/hood scoop for my 99...

Yupyup, SWB = short wheel base aka 2 door Trooper. Wow...it's sweeet! Wish I had a camera on me.

I wasn't even aware that there was a SWB trooper. I wouldn't want one. It doesn't meet my needs. Buy hey, to each their own.

I think its cool in a wierd sort of red-headed stepchild, flipper-adorned offspring of siblings kinda way...I like the 2-door factor, but something just doesn't look right about it to me.

There use to be a mid lenght 2 door Trooper till I think 87. Big slider windows on the side. Was just a little shorter then the 4 door but not nearly as short as the 88 up 2 door posted above. If it had been avialbel when I bought my 88 (new ) I would have bought it. The new short was just too short and it killed all the cargo room.

You wanna see tons of them? Go to Ireland. Troopers EVERYWHERE, and LOTS of them SWB.
