Spotted: Who's 3rd Gen 4Runner in DTLA (Little Tokyo)?

Not sure if the owner of this 4Runner is here on EXPO.. Baddest looking 3rd Gen I've seen. Sorry for the bad pic I asked my daughter in the backseat with the camera to snap a pic... I was in the Gray FZJ80 driving on 2nd St

it looks stock except for the bigger tires and mild lift. the trd sticker must add a few hp though...

it does have a rear tire carrier, not sure but from the pic, Id say an Armorology, but they are in Colorado.

Haha- If that's the baddest 4runner you've seen, get on T4R.org and check out some rigs on there ... You'll be surprised.

All you'll find on T4R are clear corners and HID upgrades, lol.

I bet you're one of those guys who is on Yotatech and swears buy it and hates T4R. lol They're both great sites. Obviously haven't been on there much cause it's quite the opposite of that, especially lately. No needed to hijack this thread with false information. "Baddest" is relative.

I'm more impressed with the minimalist mod look that still look kinda stock but functions well offroad.

That 4r will garner more than two looks from me if I saw that on the road.

Yea maybe 'Baddest' shouldn't have been the right word to use.. Maybe cleanest?!? I live in LA and don't see too many modded 3rd Gens.. I see 1st, 2nds & 4ths... but rarely 3rd gens.. But also, I was in Downtown LA and as HIP as its become down there.. seeing any nicely modded off-road vehicle in a sea of Scions & Prius's(?), and the rest of the anchovy school of passenger cars is rare... Our trucks tend to really stick out....Yea, I really liked the rear bumper and spare tire carrier.. I can only assume he was also running 255's as they were tall and skinny. Maybe not the baddest, but very nice and as someone else mentioned minimal looks.. LOL... (I love them plain with tall and skinny legs!):victory:
