The Mr. Heater portable Buddy heaters are approved for use inside enclosed spaces, so I wouldn't worry about it for use inside of the Springbar tent. I've been wanting one of these myself and have even thought about using it to heat our guest house (but using a larger propane tank).
With your thought of a wood stove, I would worry about cutting into an expensive tent and breaking up the integrity of the unit, not to mention the additional setup time such a contraption would take. Then, your original concerns of setup time would really be legitimate.
