Squeal like a pig boy...

Dakar's are really nice - good load carrying and nice all around ride. I have had no squeaks, but then again there was the preemptive spray of lube prior to installation. Perhaps an un-install - spray - reinstall would resolve the unfortunate reminder of the movie...

I have no answer to the Query above but...

Go figure... Today I have my head out the window while I'm rounding a slow lumpy off camber corner in my folks neighborhood... and SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK...

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Guess that's what I get for patting myself on the back about how good a jpb I did buying these springs ;) Every time you get all high and mighty the good old universe is right there to knock you down a peg eh :D . O well time to get out Greese gun and the white lithium greese(Double bump for WL Greese, I also use this on my steering stops, lasts for a good while and even holds up to water crossings somewhat well) and go to town this weeekend.

I still think my Springs are great, but hey they're leaves and frankly thay're all gonna squeek to some degree at one point or another. I think it's easy enought to fix it, just lube them up, but the nature of the beast says that they will probably make some noise here and there. I tell you what I'll take the nice ride and the added capacity with squeeks over the saggy *** and slamming off the bump-stops over every bump like it was with the stock springs eh ;) .

Cheers

Dave

'09?? 6600 miles? Go to the dealer and make them fix it. That's baloney.

I for one think a proper off road truck needs to have at least a little squeak in the suspension. I call it "character".
