SS sink for my AT Horizon

Finally got tired of the mess from washing hands etc. and fabbed up a little sink that quickly snaps into place and stores perfectly above the stove in the side box. Demo'd it at DV and really like it. I have a QR drain not shown in this pic that drains into a plastic bucket.

Very Nice.

So how did you do this. I would like to see a full write up on this. How does it attach, were did you get the sink, etc... Well Done.

The sink was made from SS sheet...cut, bent and corner welded. Not the cheapest darn thing...but short of committing to 100+ qty to have made out of plastic it was the best I could do. I'll probably offer a few for sale for fellow Horizon owners that think they have to have a sink...

That is one of the slickest upgrades I've seen for the Horizon, BRAVO! I've been messing around with a plastic tub in the same position but this is light years ahead of it. Are you planning on making another run becuase I'm interested if you are.

I'd be interested for sure. How does it hold onto the water tank? Can you post pics of that?

FWIW, in my search for a stainless sink for my trailer build I discovered Home Depot has small RV style stainless sinks on the shelf for about 40 bucks. Ask for bar sinks.

Personally, I think that stainless one you made is perfect! I love how it mounts and looks nice and solid!

Count me in!

I'd be interested, to say the least. This is a much needed mod. Spilling water and other debris all over the rig just doesn't fit with how functional it is in most every other way.

Thank you! That's ALOT better price for the sink assuming the drain would not interfere with the propane tank placement and it could be mounted securely.

I have a SS angle bar bolted to the side box; takes 15-seconds to install/remove the sink. I'll need to take more pics including the QR drain when I get home tonight.

Thank you Andrew! That's what I tried to use but as you know it's a total PITA. Plus this sink design worked out really well in that it's deep enough to even wash a few dishes if you want/have to but still fits in the shelf space above the slide out stove on the sidebox. I'll post up pricing for with and without the drain...but this ain't a cheap accessory :-o
