Stealthy winch

...I'm anxious to try it out...

interesting approach... in terms of keeping it small/light for most situations but being prepared with rigging for when the situation gets heavy

now lets see some action shots dammit!

Wil, yea - the fairlead is definitely small. As noted above, the opening is only 2.77"

a bit off the topic in the sense that its not directly related to bajataco's admirable setup. but i thought it was a stealthy winch worthy of mention...

i was flipping through an old issue of Land Rover World, rereading a Defender vs Santana vs Ibex article when i remembered the "Vector Winch" system that comes on the Ibex. its basically a centrally mounted winch with a cable that runs to both the front and the rear of the vehicle. a pretty ideal tool, however would require some serious fabrication to retrofit!
