Storing and organizing camping equipment

Much appreciated! I see they aren't sealed to be water tight either, but that wouldnt be difficult to do. Any recommendations for waterproof/sealed bins? Ones that could be thrown from storgage to top of the car or back of truck?
I'd steer clear of the action packers. I have some I bought back in 2008. I never use mine anymore, other than general garage storage. They are not water proof, don't stack well, waste a lot of space with the form factor, and are expensive.

I use 18 gallon Rubbermaid roughneck totes, work very well!

I think also when looking at boxes the straighter the sides the better I have a few action packers but like others more general storage and wont buy more to me to much wasted space design I am finding I like the clear boxes cause its easier to see my junk :) but also I wrote a while back I am slowly going to soft bags more and more and having certain things in harder boxes and have pretty much quit using my pelican cases cause of weight alone

if you have a container store near you ? they have a awesome return policy

just thinking out loud cause I now it helps my brain get going when others brain dump as I call it :)
any clothing any thing that wont break is now in soft bags
kinda like OK I have this insane tough stove and why do I need to put it in a hard case when a soft will do

I used to have wolf packs with our trailer and they are really nice also but those clear ones I have and linked to I liker better than the wolf packs :)
I have not had the latch problems some have had with them ? but I dont stack them either
