Great looking Legacy, love the front bumper. And I would agree, you need to do a rear, that trailer hitch hangs down WAY too low...

Thanks Johnnyquest!
I have a few builds on the interwebs but will endeavor add one here too.
Reliability: Its an EJ22 Subaru so reliability is high. I'm currently dialing-in my Ultrguage so I can have accurate on-the-fly MPG efficiency info, so my current calculations are relatively accurate. Even with 3"+ overall lift (suspension and 27" AT tires) and re-geared, I still get around 18-20 MPG city and 23-25 highway.

Ciao,

Superu_legacy, I REALLY like your car. Do you have a build thread? I'd like to get more details on what you did, reliability issues, and fuel economy. Again, awesome car.

Yeah a rear bumper is high on the list., My buddy is convincing himself to get a bender, but when he does this project will be high on the list!
BTW, I've lurked-out your celica a few times, I totally dig it!! :ylsmoke:

Longtime Toyota 4Runner guy here, but recently I joined the ranks of Subaru owners. Well, I should say that my wife has had an Outback for quite some time, but now we both have Subies in the garage. The gas on the 4Runner was killing me with the lift and big tires. I'm still "into" the ExPo stuff but I have to figure out how to do this with a Subaru now. I've been thinking of selling a bunch of my old ARB gear (air compressor, etc.) from the 4Runner but perhaps I will hold onto some of it now.

I drive: 2013 STi Sedan

She drives: 2005 Outback 3.0R VDC

See you guys on the forums and/or trails!

I checked out tour Toltec Rally link. Lots of cool photos. Looks like you guys have a blast.

We do, but too bad stage rally in the US dwindling (at least on the East coast). We may ship the WRX to Costa Rica and race down there. But our favorite events are snow rallies, however not many of those down there....

I don't know for sure, but I would assume that there are a good deal of rallys out here in Arizona. Dirt roads all over the place and with the elevation that I'm at it will definitely snow. Perhaps once the STi doesn't look so new and shiny I'll take it out for a spin on a rally course.

I have a friend in Flagstaff whose gotten into stage rally (just placed 3rd in the Gorman Ridge Rally) and is relatively new to the sport. I think he helped get the Tucson Rally Cross off the ground (or is at least excited there's an avenue for driving in AZ).

Best and yeah man, Go for it!!

Technically, there is no such thing, because all stage rally is run on closed roads.

The big event is coming up: http://www.prescottrally.com/

Go spectate and/or volunteer to marshall. Nuthing like being 20 feet from Subarus going 90mph sideways on gravel. Oh, wait, there is, its driving a car 90mph sideways on gravel :)

BTW: this is the best rally series in the US: http://californiarallyseries.com/

I didn't think an Outback could actually GET that clean! Did you remove the factory-installed dirt and scratches?

Nor did I. It's been well kept by the previous owner. A few notable items when purchased were; 3M invisible bra, new Michelin tires, and all major maintenance (head gasket, timing belt, all seals, etc.) done within the last year from Carr Subaru in Portland. I picked it up with 99,xxx miles, and by the looks of it, she's got many miles left on her. I just ordered a set of Mud Flaps so I am looking forward to putting those on shortly.
