I hope they sell the tow hooks for SF's here, I've been on the fence about ordering them from AUS for years.

Getting impatient waiting for the lifting coilovers, that and my neighbours ex decided to block the driveway, so I parked on what's left of the snow bank.......ok I don't know why my iPad rotated the picture, but you get the point.

Looking at getting some expo rims and tires, need some input, 16 or 17" rims? Tire type and size? Opinions? Keep in mind I'm looking to go up 1.5"

JKmikey, I'd be interested to know what kind of mpg you get with the hybrid after several tanks. So far what is your initial impression on the hybrid system and the car in general?

Only have about 2500km on the car so far, and averaging about 8.0L/100km, between both highway and city (during the winter months with winter wheels and tires). I'm also in Calgary and travel to the mountains, so I've really yet to have a tank where I didn't do large elevation changes on it.

Come the summer, once I switch back to the hybrid wheels, and summer temperatures, I'm hoping to see some big improvements.

I really like the hybrid so far. It gives a good little kick that I found lacking in the standard model. Also, in traffic (once I turned off the heat), I can easily stay on battery (which gives me more hope for the summer months). Would i like to be able to run a bit more in battery mode? Of course, as the engine kicks on pretty early, but overall I'm quite happy. The price difference wasn't that much, and the colour is awesome. Plus in Canada, we don't get the same options for models, we get 1 hybrid model vs the US, where I believe you get the 3 ranges (Sport? Touring, Limited).

Just some FYI

SUBARU OFFERS FOUR VERSIONS OF SYMMETRICAL ALL-WHEEL DRIVE
FOR 2014-2015 MODELS; BRZ SPORTS CAR IS REAR-WHEEL DRIVE

Cherry Hill, N.J. - February 24, 2014 - Subaru produces passenger cars, SUVs and crossovers equipped as standard with Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. (The Subaru BRZ sports car is rear-wheel drive.) Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive is a comprehensive system that includes a lightweight horizontally opposed Subaru BOXER engine and the full-time automatic torque distribution system. Rather than take a "one type fits all" approach, Subaru tailors its four different versions of Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive to a particular powertrain or model.

Thanks for the update JKMikey, glad to hear you're enjoying it. I had a day off so decided I should get lost in the mountains. Heres a pic on the blue ridge parkway once I got to paved roads.

99' Forester. Her name was Jezebel

I just sold her and bought a Tacoma. She had 230,000 miles, lots of little custom items. Set up to sleep 2. Sad to see her go. Now on to the next project.

My girlfriend races at the Pikes Peak Hillclimb. The first two years on a bike, and since then it's been cars. When she raced the bike, it was easy. No big tow rigs and a much smaller crew.

Here's the rig we took up the second year. The car was an $800 Forester with dents on every corner from the previous elderly owner who could not drive. We put over 120k miles on that car before it was rolled at a rallycross and it's drivetrain went into another Impreza. The car was comfortable and swallowed all the spares, gear and tools needed for a week at Pikes Peak.

Before that bike was relegated to racing, it was a street legal bike. Here it's on it's way to a track day behind the nice daily driver, the '05 STi.

Although it may not look like it but here's the pics of my '11 WRX lifted with rally coilovers, going to need some adjustments to make it the way I like, next I gotta grab some new rims and bigger rubber.
