Suburban Front bumper build @ Outdoorlogic

So time for some updates,

First step was to create the internal winch plate that the bumper will mount to. The idea was to make life easier as the winch is super heavy and loading it plus the bumper would not be fun.

And now for bumper fit-up... We discovered that we could take 3'' out of the profile and 1.5 out of the depth.... But not to bad for the prototype..It was kind of hard to plan around the 3'' body lift as the bumper has to sit above the frame rails and still house the MONSTER 18.5k winch :Wow1:

That bumper looks soooooo beefy. Excellent work on getting that huge winch tucked in there. Nice job!:wings:

I didn't take a picture of that...I will shortly it is just behind the back bottom corner..It is really easy to grab and turn

i really love the look of the bumper. i would just prefer it were alot slimmer. but i guess that isnt easy with a monster winche behind it. how tall is it?

Not sure of the height as I am now at home... On future versions of this bumper we can loose 2'' of height with body lift.. 3'' of height with no body lift. Since we sucked the winch in so tight and under the frame rail we could slim the shape out more.
