Hello again every body

I now have some questions and ideas for you guys

Rig is a 1500 suburban 4x4 1995 350 700

its completly stock

Use of the truck will be Green Laneing (Driving on green fields)
Snow driving and what you call fireroads (No heavy dutystuff no crawling no mudding)

Im wondering can i stick with the ifs ?

I plan on running winch (Nylon wire for weight)
A home fabbed front bumber / Rear bumber / Tire Rack
Will swap rear for something better (What will fit with no hassles Maby d60/d70)and rear locker
Roofrack and alot of lighting
3inch body lift (And maby some torsion tweaks to fit 35x12" M/T)

It will not tow any thing (just a small boat maby 600kg)

So what do you guys think Ifs or SAS / and what rear axel

Oh and btw SAS will make my life a pita since it will not pass inspection here in sweden (Alot of gowrment paper work will be requerd)

leave it alone except the torsion keys to level, drop tire choice to 255/85-16 (33.3") and put the time and money into the upgrades, get out and enjoy....

35s on a 1500 IFS truck will make for an unpleasant experience. You will be in a constant battle with alignment issues and poor ride quality. I wouldn’t go bigger then a 285/75-16 or the much loved EXPO 255/85-16. 255 will fit better with it being so narrow. I wouldn’t lift it more then 1.5 in the suspension then maybe do a 1 or 2 inch body lift if needed for tire clearance.

Stick with the IFS, if you're not doing anything extreme you won't need the SFA. The IFS is perfectly capable in most situation and is much nicer on the road. I can't wait to see your front bumper configuration, I've been thinking of fabbing something up for my 1990 GMC Sierra K1500 because I haven't found anything on the market that didn't cost almost as much as my initial purchase price of the truck!
I agree with others here, stick to 33" or less, they will simply work better in most of what you seem to indicate you'll be running in. I'm just running 265/75R16 mud tires on my truck which required no lift and has no rubbing and they're great on the road and should do very well off road.

okay thanks for the input

Will it look ok with 3" body lift and 33xwide (12" maby) 35" looks so good on the burb =)

Coriuos about the weight up front ? going to make a box betwen frame rails in 5mm iron for winch mount and go 3mm on all the rest (or do i need thicker plates)

Will it sag in the front ? if so how does one fix this

I have 285/75 16 on now, studded for winter use (yes i know its summer now but who cares) And i think they are way to narrow (dosent look right)

And on the cost of bumbers iknow the seam to cost an arm and then some will post when i start fabbing my own

What do you gys think of superwinch thinking of ordering this http://www.superwinch.com/EPi9_0S_9_000_lbs.html
And this for back

Where can i find a high output generator "200amps"

Amd where is the weakspot on the ifs is it the drive axels ? or some where else ? (i do know a bloke who makes custom driveshafts and drive axels =)

If the front droops a little after you install the winch and bumper you can level it out by cranking the torsion bars a bit.
As for the winch selection, it really depends on how heavy the vehicle will be when the winch would be in use. Based on the weight of the burb + a reasonable amount of gear and a passenger or three I would probably go with at least a 12,000 lb winch just to have some cushion.
