Just picked up this 03 Tahoe. Very clean rig, has a stack of maintenance records from the day it was new to present. 180k miles. Only downside is the auto ride suspension. Anyone know how much of a PITA it is to get rid of so I can put a small lift on it for the 33" tires I ordered?

The auto ride is SO NICE. Its an expensive system to maintain though. If you want to get rid of it, just take it all out. You'll get an error on the LCD screen but the system isn't embedded into anything else in the truck so it will work fine. I think they make a module you can add (or program in) to get rid of the codes, but I'm not sure. My coworker has the system on his Tahoe and ended up rebuilding the autoride instead of removing it.

Try looking over here 2000-2006 Tahoe/Yukon forum on their lift & suspension section

Got some customer pictures back of this Tahoe with the new bumper installed. Available here: https://baselineoverland.com/products/2007-2014-chevy-tahoe-suburban-avalanche-winch-bumper
There's a lack of support for these trucks, so 'feel free to spread the word so we can keep on working at it.
I’m about ready to spend a little with you. I was wondering two things….
On a gmt900 Denali, does the bumper include the section between the grill and headlights, or does the factory bumper cover piece get cut? It’s hard to tell on the white Denali on your website because everything is black.
2nd Q….Is pickup in Boulder an option or are you shipping only?

Ok….another unrelated Q. Last one.
Our GMT400 Burb did not come from the factory with a roof rack. Will the one you sell work if I am willing to drill some holes, or is it specific only to models that originally had a rack?

Thanks and look forward to supporting your endeavor!

Hi Mike! The Denali is our truck. The factory bumper cover is one big pieces that extends up and surrounds the grill. Mine was damaged, and when I replaced it, I just left it primer black. Below is a picture of one with the body color bumper cover/ grill surround. It just gets trimmed just above the body line. Pickup is Boulder is an option, but shipping is free and ships from California.

If your GMT400 didn't come with a rack, ours will still work, you will just need to drill and install rivet nuts. Just send a note and I'll include them in your order. We occasionally run across government trucks that didn't have them, the Square Body Suburban mostly did not have racks, and neither do the Silverados. It's prett straight forward.
