Suggestions for roof rack system for F550

Hi, I finished this F550 build and took it on a few trips. I want to utilize the space over the cab. Any suggestions?

I'm thinking a roof rack of sorts. I don't want something single purpose. I can imagine wanting to carry a kayak up there in some cases, but also use for storage for longer trips. Anyone came across a roof rack system with attachments that will work here?

Thanks! It was a dream built come true.

It's a 2004 4x4 Ford F550 V10 Super Cab. Until 2020, it was the Bomb Squad vehicle at a county sheriff in Wisconsin. Bought it in 2021, converted it into a 4-season camper with all the amenities inside (toilet, shower, kitchen, bed, sofa). We took it snowboarding in the winter, and have been exploring lot of state/national parks and boondocking this spring/summer. Right now, focusing on adding exterior mods, and tweaking things here and there.

You might want to search for "arborist truck overhead rack images". Many arborist trucks have racks that run from the back of the cab to the front bumper. The racks might work for storage and perhaps a "deck" for chairs, wildlife viewing, etc.

Initially started searching for an ambulance but couldn’t find anything I could stand in or with a super cab to carry extra passengers. This fit the bill.

Any thoughts on platform vs. basket? I’m leaning towards the platform because it doesn’t require crossbars which gives it a cleaner look, but don’t know if I’m missing out on any functionality that the basket provides.
