Sunday Hike at Minister Creek

Here's a few pics of my son's Cameron and I hike at Minister Creek Trail in the Alleghany National Forest. Located in NW PA, Forest County along Tionesta Creek, about 40 miles from our house. We walked the 10 mile loop, from Deerlick Camp to The Minister Creek Overlook. The temp's were in the 70's, bugs weren't out yet, and only saw 1 troop of boy scouts, so the trails were pretty much empty. For those out west, the tall things growing around the rocks are called "trees", the ones without leaves yet are known as "deciduous". The mandatory rig shot is taken along Tionesta Creek.

I'm confused.....your trees DON'T have needles? That's just odd and not right. If they're not green all the time, why keep them?

I love Minister Creek! It's always one of the best places to be.

The trees lose thier leaves for 2 reasons:
*To make you get off your *ss and go rake some leaves for that svelte figure
*To keep the Lawn and Garden shops in a positive cash flow selling leaf blowers and mulching mowers.
