Love it! I didn't bother airing down or detaching the sway bar. It was cushy enough.

I was at Sunflower a couple years ago and a group of Suzuki's was behind us.

They eventually made it down behind us to the mine and we got to talking wondering who flipped the truck down the hill.

One of the guys, bragging, claimed he and his buddy had pushed the truck over the hill with their rig. They were serious and proud, and had been drinking.

Little Suzukis claimed to push that huge truck over? Not too likely.

It would have been nice if whoever pushed it over managed to get their bumped stuck as it went over and it pulled them along with it.

That's really sad. I remember how upset I was when I went there the first time after I found that old truck pushed over the edge.

Great site!

Look, there used to be a loader down by the mine too! What the hell is wrong with people!

That backhoe was probably driveable when that picture was taken. I'm 95% certain they (whoever "they" are) drove it out of there.

Nice to see that most of the older photos shown here are from our Bronco club website :).

Todd,
Yeah, pretty cool site!:) Its great to see some of the trails I like to do now, before I lived here.
I didn't see too many current updates. Are you guys still pretty active?

We're still reasonably active although we don't get out on the trails every single month like we did for many, many years. A few of us (i.e. me!) ended up being trail leaders most of the time and we sorta got tired of it. Typical club dynamics. Now you'll find us doing more things like a monthly swapmeet (yesterday), car shows in CA (last month), run to the Pavilions on Saturday night(September) along with our trail runs.

Our club webmaster also decided to not post separate trip reports anymore a few years back either - deciding instead to just keep them in the pdf newsletters that we have online. Did the same thing with our tech articles. I'm not thrilled about that but I can understand his point - saves some labor on his part.
