Ugh.

Bleeding the brakes and this... time for some new front clappers.
Blamed on rust... just like the bearings.

Jeebus, that sucks.
How's the heater install coming? Will the new fitting be too tall to fit back underneath? Looks much taller than the factory ones, but I've yet to drop my tank...

I'll start working on the Espar when the temps start staying below 80, I like heat and working but needlessly... forget about it.
And it's slightly higher than the stock equip but plenty of room between tanks and floor.

So...
Yesterday after all the work was completed I went to Clearwater beach afterwards I was on my way to meet a friend to hang out and all of a sudden this minor vibration starts to happen and it's rapidly growing!
Ok... moved to the right lane and soon as I did... BANG! Something let loose under the van.
After poking around it appears to be the drive shaft, holding on by one bolt.
So a phone call to the shop and a flat bed was on the spot in less than 20 mins. I spent the night in the shop's parking lot.
Now to find out what's wrong.

Of course I missed the opportunity to get a picture of the van on the flat bed... lol

At least it didn't take out the ears on the drive shaft. That would've sucked great big goats for sure.

Clearwater is fun. Spent about a week at the Koa over that area this past summer. Kids love the beach. Mine are major scavengers. They do the mask/snorkel thing so they can collect sea shells, hermit crabs, and anything else that isn't fast enough to escape their paws.

Lol!

True about the ears...
20 minutes more and I will be entering Alabama on the way to TX.

We all agree that the sun can be strong at times...
Quick and easy fix!

So today I finally have the Espar D4 working.
I had to by a mity-vac hand vacuum pump tho...
The reason why is because the fuel pump wasn't strong enough to bleed out the air from the lines.
Omg, having temperature controlled heat and dry heat too is amazing!
My fears of it being loud / noisy was silly, this is super quite and hardly noticeable.

Had to post a picture or two... not much to see, sorry.

I've only had it running for the two days so far and it seems to be perfect. Then again I don't have much experience or much knowledge.
As far as holding temperature there is a little bit of a swing to it so I set it 2 degree higher so when it comes back on it stays in a comfortable range- because I don't like being cold. But in time I'll learn more and report back in.
