I haven't taken any pictures I've been using the van so much lately. I'm currently down in Jacksonville Florida enjoying the beach for the past few weeks... fishing and kayaking but last week I landed a nice job so for the very short term maybe one more month I'm just going to crash out and eventually put enough money together to get a place to live. Then I'll start taking pictures when I start doing some more upgrading to the van.
As for getting on the roof, no ladder yet. I've been climbing up the side by the doors.

Long over due update to my thread!
I've ordered a bunch of stuff and I'm starting to install slowly...

I'll start with:
Renogy 100 Watt panel w/ brackets and the Sunforce 60032 30 Amp Digital Charge Controller.
hood vents, just $10! why not... ?
oil change and fuel filter.
Baofeng handheld ham radio, just $28! why not... ?
another Blueseas Dual USB Charger Socket to be powered from the house batteries, the current one is in the dash for GPS stuff and phone.
small digi Amp / Volt guage for the house batteries.
I'm about to order two factory battery boxes to place on the frame rails to hold the house batteries. I've yet to get the AGMs til I have the boxes, because I want to make sure I have the correct measurements.

On to today's pictures.
measure 4 times cut twice LOL!

between the layers of the hood I put white silicone in so water and debris doesn't make a mess.

I'm having trouble loading the rest of the pictures and I need to eat my food before it gets cold...

I few months back I added a Fantastic Fan to the roof, all the way towards the rear. What a great investment.
A few weeks ago I picked up factory rear doors with stock windows so when I find the factory pop out glass I'll have even more ventilation!
I did tint the two front windows myself... $9.00 for tint and of course I'm not the best tinter so they will have to do for a while.
And YES I did find more appealing factory mirrors for just $20 while I was in Tampa a few months back. I couldn't see behind me and the horrid looks of those commercial grade things!

I have been deep in thought about a trip for a while... I want to drive to the west side of Brazil to visit some friends and to get out of dodge for a while. So I'm planning 1.5 to 3 years for departure date. Of course this means Chris @ UJOR will be getting a call further down the road.
But to be honest, I NEED to get A LOT of things done first (maintenance related), interior and things for comfort like Solar power, ext mods... etc etc.

Its pretty hard to describe the amount of light from these things, let's say impressive.
The color of them is clean and clear with a hint of led hue
