What size super yanker will I need for a ~4k LB car? 7/8?

Hey, how can I get ahold of the military grade products? I have awhile before I will need it but I was wondering if they are available to the general public or do I have to be an active member and use it on a mil. vehicle or what? I'm joining the Air Force in Dec. and will be getting an M35a2. I know there are regular lines that could handle this rig but, truthfully I want one just for that cool factor.
