Wow, lots of feedback. x12 on the polartec fleece. I've used the one for the ODU FWII in the coast guard, much lighter and crappier to be honest. I just got on of the black ones with my other gear. I like it alot and I think it'll replace my liner in my FWP I've got now.

Well, if you ever get some pictures of IDF medics with their bags, I'd love to see them.... And if you know of a website discusses training, equipment, etc for the IDF medical services (besides the official one) I'd appreciate a link.

Field medicine is both an occupation, and a hobby for me. I like knowing what the other professional militaries are doing.

Its not the IDF, but this is the one we train out of most of the time.

I use different size MOLLE bags for storage and to keep smaller things at hand in the front seat. We have an Army surplus store in town with some great prices on new gear.

Cool setup. How did you fab up the molle mounts on your dash and trunk?

The one on Ranger Joe's site is my personal fave - 300 weight fleece and very well made, we call this one the Black Bear for obvious reasons.

Great value but remember one thing about fleece - it does nada against the wind!

Don't forget to have a shell on hand that works with what you have , in cold/wet weather it's all about layering up or down as the situation dictates.

Ranger Joe's fleece cap is friggen awesome. Beats the hell out of the Hellstorm one I have.

I have been sporting the Cabela's version of the ECWCS for a few years. The "loden" color is a mix of Foliage and OD.

I went with the Cabelas version because they offer long lengths, and I am a lanky ********.
