I am making a relay board that is controlled by Android devices via bluetooth. I have a prototype working now. I have created an app that has a graphical switch bank that can control the relays over a bluetooth link. My purpose is for controlling lighting that i am adding to my vehicle: Fender well lights for putting chains on in the snow when dark, Side mounted lights for lighting area around vehicle for setting up camp, off road lights. You get the picture. These relays can be used to turn on and off anything that you would with a regular switch. The advantage is that you can consolidate the controls to the tablet and not pepper the dash with switches AND remotely turn lights on and off. The app works on my phone and my tablet. I am wondering if this may be something that others may be interested in and if it would be worth turning into a product. Do any of you have any interest in adding something like this to your rig? Or is this just something I like?
