Anyone know of some ruggedized tablets maybe water proof or resistant Shock protection. And a bright screen

No actually. The best thing to do if you want a rugged tablet is to buy an ipad and put a lifeproof case on it....That's the only suggestion I have. Panasonic has a Toughbook laptop, but that is a big jesus device.

You didn't mention the platform you're looking for, but in general, Google and ye shall find.
For iPad, there are several case options.

Panasonic makes a rugged tablet. Toughpad. Expensive. I like the ipad life proof route

Yeah, the lifeproof case is pretty cool. I have one for my iPhone, and will be using it on my new versys x 300 as navigation and music.
