Tacoma tent/bib?

I recently saw a photo of a Tacoma set up with a cap and sleeping arrangement inside. It looked like they had a canvas or nylon tent door/entrance/bib. It draped over the open window of the cap.

Any idea who makes this? I have my 07 Tacoma set up with a bed in the bed, and a cap. I would like to get one of these for an upcoming camping trip.

Is this what you're talking about?

That's my old Tacoma. The truck tent was made by DAC and was purchased from http://www.campmor.com

EDITED TO ADD: Also available from Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/DAC-Mid-Size-...&sr=1-1-fkmr0&keywords=DAC+compact+truck+tent

How'd you like that set up Martin?

I've been toying with getting a camper shell for my DC and doing something like what you had.

Did the door on your shell open farther than parallel with the top of the shell? Wondering if the tent keeps the door from opening all the way up or if modifications are required?

It worked pretty well. Never had the occasion to sleep through a rainstorm so I'm not sure how well it sealed. I had it on both the cab-high shell (shown) and also on my high-rise shell. The tent does hold the rear window parallel to the ground but I never had any difficulty getting in or out of the truck. Setup and takedown was a breeze.

I had the same DAC tent on the end of my shell (5 foot DC) and it worked well - except in rain. Think about your tent in a rain, if you touch the side, the water comes through, that was my problem, the top sitting on the glass drew water through and dripped on my face. I added a cheap canopy and it solved the problem.

Tyvek comes free at work, I maybe better of just building my own.
