My D40 Navara's tailgate does not have a lock. Can anyone suggest a good and sturdy after-market lock?

He said there's no point locking it when people can reach in and grab stuff, with the ARB canopy shut, and locked its not possible to open the tailgate anyway - same goes if you go for a flat hard lid.

Tailgate locks in this country have become nearly mandatory to stop the tailgate from being stolen. It has nothing to do with what you carry inside the bed. I had to replace a tailgate on a '91 Ford F-150, and a used one at the junk yard was $200. A new gate for a Frontier would be more like a grand, and that is worth protecting.
