I like the comment... "We Canadians call it a Wednesday."

A neat video, but I wouldn't consider it anything too amazing.

Here's the video of my recent trip to SE Utah.. mostly shot handheld whilst driving around.. pretty half assed job but still provides a tremendously different feel than the photo album.

In addition to video and photo, one often overlook the power of audio in bringing a listener to the landscape. Below is an hour long audio recording that is BEYOND AWESOME. You need to listen with a pair of headphones because it was recorded with a binaural mic (3D for audio). Sit back close your eyes and take an hour long vacation to the Annapurna Trail. (Storyline begin at the 2min mark)

Lots of Inspriation here. I have been dabbling in the video relm for a few months now nothing like what we have seen here. I just haven't developed the vision yet. I also shoot mainly with some nonHD Gopros I have. Thime to step it up I think thats for sure. I ahvebeen trying to find a inexpensive HD camera to mess with. I would love to go SLD HD video but that may not be in the books for a year or so. So maybe something cheap to tide me over.

What is everyone shooting with? What editing software are you using?

So I have a question about the music used. In my mind, music is what makes the video. It can completely change the mood and feel of what you're looking at depending on the choice of music

How do you go about finding music and what's available to use?

I have a friend who was posting up some really sweet dual sport riding videos and he got an email saying he was in Copyright violation from Sony Music because he handt paid for use of the music he was using in his videos.

They basically sent him a cease and desist letter telling him he had to take it down or he be contacted by their lawyers.

Imagine if that was your job as a employee for Sony Music BMG. You get to sit and surf the web all day to find videos being posted using your labels artists without consent!!!
