Tent cot

I have used the cabelas brand deluxe tent cot for about three years now. I love it! Cant go wrong with it. I have seen the camprite ones and I think my cabelas one takes the cake by a ways. I just stayed in it two nights ago and we had a storm roll in. My buddys tent had three broken tent poles and he had to get up at 3am to fix the tent. I slept warm and dry all night in my tnet cot. If you are gonna get one though I would get the cabelas one! :victory:

I've used one off and on for about 2 years now.... The main thing I don't like about it is that it's big and heavy. I've got the 2 person, and folded up it's about 5'x3' and 40lbs (close to that anyways). So it's big and takes up a lot of space.
Other than that, it's nice and comfortable, keeps you off the ground a dry, sets up/takes down real quick.

I've got the single person Kamp-rite. It's been fine for me, comfortable and solid. I will parrot the size issue, in the back of my truck, it's the last thing in and the first thing out. That's it's only downside with respects to a tent.

We've got a single and oversize Kamp-Rite, been using the oversize for about two years now. A little bulky to carry, but it's so nice when you have to set up camp at night or in bad weather.

In the winter we put it under our ez-up and put the sides on the ez-up. Usually keep the front side flapped open and build a campfire right outside the ez-up - keeps it toasty in there all night long.

On the oversized you definitely want to use some form of sleep pad, just something thin will suffice. On my single I can make it through the night fine with the integral sleep pad in it.

They really shine when you're stuck in a rainstorm and the water just runs right under you while you're nice and dry inside.
