Scott and I used a Nemo when we spent 2 weeks on the Trans America trail in July. Good tent. The only thing I did not like about it was that it didn't have a vestibule. IMO, a vestibule is absolutely critical if you are going to be spending any time in wet weather. See the summer Overland Journal for a good tent review.
The reason I chose the Nano over the Morpho was because the Nano actually has a useable vestibule. When I say usable, I mean I can easily place wet boots and a jacket under there with no problems. A large backpack would be a stretch but my truck is my pack. Another reason I like the Nano is that it can support both the airbeams or aluminum poles. Super neat tent and very well built.

Super tents, I've got one for my trailer and one for our ground tent (4 people)

Sorry, I have to chime in here with a warning. IMHO Airzone tents are not all that great and their customer service is just bad. I purchased an Airzone tent from a third party brand new. Upon the second time using it, one of the air beams exploded. The end split. I called the manufacturer, Airzone, and they said they could not cover the tent because it was one of their earlier models that was licensed to a third party. They gave me a run around about how the licensee changed the original specs of the tent and produced a product of inferior quality so they would not cover the mfg defect

I am following up on Jonathan's article (Lightweight tents) with a main-feature equipment article on Family tents for the upcoming issue (Fall). There are six tents featured and the article is about 17 pages including op/eds and specs/comparison tables.

I have talked to the CANADA manager, Denyse, about this very problem and I was told that their quality control and engineering has changed significanty over the early 2000 year series

You should NEVER use a compressor, of HIGH PSI or CuFt/sec even though the air rods have a 22psi overpressure relief valve

I've air'd up my (2) six times as of now and using an air pressure guage (as suggested) and a low PSI compressor, in my POWERSTATION, I keep the upper pressure point at 18 psi, which is below there recommended pressure, but 18 psi is adequet and takes 1 minute for the GOLDFINCH and 2 minutes for the OSPREY

Hopefully I won't have a problem like tours, but you never know

Any time you buy something from 'OUT-OF-THE-CONTRY" ypu're taking a chance

Ya lays yer money and ya takes yer chances

:bike_rider: Yo Gonzzo, I didn't do a blow by blow construction, because nobody on this forum wants anything to do with TENTRAX

So, I just used the basic layout that TENTRAX has for their tent option, but I'm using the Airzone air tent , for quick up/down and because it's exactally the same dimentions as the basic TENTRAX

I should have it COMPLETED by next weekend, so I'll start a new thread, under TRAILERS and show it from start to finish

Now this "GOLDFINCH" model, only comes in yellow, like my Xterra and trailer, so thats fairly singular

So far, unfinished the tent goes up/down, like it was made for the TENTRAX

See ya next week

I can't say enough good things about my Nemo Nano. This thing is fantastic and now that I have had a chance to use it a little more I am very happy with it. The tent goes up a little different than most as the poles go inside the thing. The pole ends go into reinforced snaps in the corners that makes for a very tight pitch. The tent can use either aluminum poles or inflatable airbeams that will be available at the first of the year. I personally like the poles because they won't have the frozen condensation problems that the airbeams could have. I put this tent through a pretty hard test for a single wall tent this weekend and it passed with flying colors (green)! I went camping with a very close temp/dew point and two people inside the tent and the only condensation inside the tent was on the metal poles. The tent material had a lot of dew on the outside but was bone dry on the inside and my beloved Marmot bag was dry as well even though it was up against the tent wall all night long. The tent protected us from a good breeze that would have easily gotten under a rainfly tent. The two man tent can actually hold two people as there is plenty of room. The thing ought to be down right luxurious for a single camper. I hope to find out next week! I almost forgot, one of the coolest features is the gear pocket just above the door zipper. The bottom of the pocket has a white rip stop nylon area that is designed to hold a head lamp. When you place a head lamp in there it serves as a filter that diffuses light so that both people can easily read. Too cool.

Anyway, now to the pics:

Why no mention of Eureka tents? they have held up great over the years for me.

I used a Eureka Timberline 4 for years and beat the snot out of it. Best tent I ever had. I sold it for $80 after 10 years of use! After 3 kids I upgraded to a "family tent!" I bought the Eureka Copper Canyon 1512 and it has been a great family tent. LOTS of space!
