The Continuing saga of my 2011 JK Unlimited Build!

That lake looks it would a blast to kayak around.
Beautiful country!

Scott you should see the Lake My parents house is on. Lemme see if I can find a photo or two! there are literally Thousands of lakes like that here, as well as the ocean coast line!

found an inside shot of our bus…

NO dice on the photo of badger lake where my folks house is. My wife and I got married on their property up there. It was an amazing backedrop for our festivities….I grew up there, spent most of my life there. Love Newfoundland tho! its amazing. Besides the ridiculous amount of taxes we pay.

Such a great idea to stage the buss up there. :)

Yeah, the lakes with the little islands, and the trees, plants. It's an area of the country I plan to spend some time exploring as soon as I retire.

I feel your pain on the taxes. We get hammered here in California as well.

I am in grand falls-windsor, ********** dab in the middle. At this point in time, and the current government thats in office, I would stop at nova scotia if you are setting up camp. We get charged 500 dollars a year per person for the "honor" of living as a newfoundlander now!

Weird, you'd think the province would try to encourage people to move there...or at least stay!

Yeah, However, I sort of understand the situation. Past Governments spending and spending....the Oil nose dive killed it. Cannot keep going on a path. But its a hard pill to swallow. We also have the highest sales tax, gas tax and we are getting dinged so much more than any other province in canada. When they did all the anouncements, it works out to 7k from every working household.

Well, The saga is over. She's gone to a new home. Visit the patriot build to continue the autismfamilytravels saga.
