The evolution of my 80....

So I have about 900 miles on since I put the new engine in. At first, the mileage was horrendous while the ECU was relearning. I was getting a solid 8.5 mpg around town. I decided to do a highway blast to see how she would do. I did a 105 mile round trip that was highway only and got 17.3 mpg @ 65 mph. After the highway run refill, I let it go until the light came on. That tank was mostly city with 30 or so highway miles towing a small trailer and 10 or so off pavement driving. I was very pleased to see 11.5 mpg average. Still on the target from what is on the window sticker. Except the part that states "Estimated Annual Fuel Cost: $1384"......I wish.

MoGas, Very nice LC you're building... Our suspension is very similar (850's +1") and was wondering what are you using for caster correction? I'm currently using 2" MAF brackets, but will be switching to 3* bushings very soon. Thanks

I am using the OME 2 degree bushings. I have a set of Slee 3 degree somewhere. I really should have a sweep done to get the hard data. There is a lot of weight up there with an extra battery, ARB bar and the 8274 with wire rope.
