I was expecting/hoping to see more small gadgety items(not $700 cameras).
Two items listed and not sold since May 7 is kinda weak.
Maybe give each item a week on the block?

The Rhino rack has been purchased. Yep, by me.

I notice after the purchase that they were 11" tall, maybe I'll mount a basket below or a rooftop tent with fishing rod storage below or............................

I was interested in the Rhino rack and asked on June 7 (and again in a recent PM) about the length of the cross-bars. No answer until somebody else asked and got an answer just recently. Then they sold. Hmmmm. If you respond to your buyers you might sell stuff more quickly. I would have bought them if you had had answered my question three weeks ago.

i can see an individual selling off surplus gear. do it myself from time to time. but i think for the Ex Portal to do so is a little, uh, junior varsity for lack of a better term. and obviously the response from the huddled masses is less than spectacular. maybe a moderator could weigh in and get things back to a professional level.

I don't have an issue with it. If they want to sell off surplus stuff that we might want...why not?

all well and good, but from the first few items it seems it's not being run too efficiently.

if any members had an item for sale in the forum and didn't communicate or return messages, i'll bet a nickel he'd catch a metric ton of poop over it.
