Moab

We've been in Moab for the past week doing some MTBing. We've hit Capt. Ahab, Mag 7, Pipe Dream and lot's of others. Highlight was by far The Whole Enchilada. Here I am at one of the overlooks on UPS.

Here is my latest toy before it's maiden voyage. Look closely. Yup, those are + tires. I ridden plus size on hardtails and ebikes, but this was my first ride on this particular bike. While I initially thought I'd add a 29er wheelset to go with it, I'm not sure I'll need it anymore. The ride was that good - it felt full on moto and was so fun. No adjustment period required like when going from 26 to 29" wheels. The future is coming. :bike_rider:

I've been back ordered. I'll let you know soon as I get it on and a wheel built. I just picked up a Lynskey made Fatback and I'm swapping many of my old parts over to my new bike. I also got out on a bikepacking trip with a Specialized women's specific fatbike the Helga. We went up Resurrection Pass trail to Devils Pass. Not real camping but we used the USFS cabins. http://www.mtbproject.com/trail/5522780

Went on a two week trip throughout the NE (from Philly) and capped the trip off with a huge deal on this Scott Spark 750 from Killington's rental shop. Time to retire my 2003 Kona Kahuna, it's definitely served me well but I can't wait to get the Spark on some serious trails!
